The first meeting of the Interdepartmental State Commission on environmental education of the population of the Sughd region                                                    

On July 5, 2022, the first meeting of the Interdepartmental State Commission on environmental education of the population of the region was held at the retraining center of the Main Department of Environmental Protection of the Sughd region in the city of Guliston. During which the work of this commission on the implementation of the "Comprehensive State Program for the Development of Environmental Education and Enlightenment of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2021-2025" for the first half of 2022 was reviewed, further tasks of the Main Directorate and its subordinate structures were identified to expand the activities of the regional commission, as well as the activities of the commission in cities and districts.

The meeting of the Interdepartmental Commission was chaired by the head of the Main Department A. K. Hakimzoda as Deputy Chairman of the commission in the region and the head of the agricultural sector of the executive body of the state authority of the Sughd region S. Akbarova as secretary of this commission in the presence of the Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan A. Mavlododa and the Head of the Department for Committee Affairs Salimzoda Sh. and deputy chiefs, heads of departments, heads of sectors and departments in cities and districts as secretaries and members of the State Interdepartmental Commission on Environmental Protection.

During the meeting, the chief specialist of the Environmental Protection Department of the region spoke on the issue of the agenda, who gave information about the work performed. At the same time, the shortcomings of the infrastructure of the Main Directorate in cities and districts were noted, and to further stimulate the process of implementing the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan on the implementation of the "Comprehensive State Program for the Development of Environmental Education and Enlightenment of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2021-2025", the meeting of the Interdepartmental State Commission on environmental education of the population of the Sughd region set a number of tasks.
