The Affairs Department is one of the main and key structures of the Central Office of the Committee, which includes the areas of registration, control and export of documents, human resources, legal services, construction of industry facilities and economic structures.

The Affairs Department carries out its activity under the guidance of the Chairman of the Committee and in accordance with the Regulations of the Office and the job descriptions of employees.

The activities of the Affairs Department are closely related to the daily work of the Deputy Chairmen of the Committee, structural subdivisions of the Central Office of the Committee, Departments, divisions and sectors of environmental protection of regions, cities and districts of the republic, centers and institutions under the Committee.

The Affairs Department conducts a monthly analysis of the implementation of orders and decrees of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, decisions and instructions of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, letters and inquiries of ministries and departments, the work plan of the Committee for half year, decisions of the Board of the Committee, minutes and other instructions of the Chairman of the Committee, submits information to the Chairman of the Committee in writing.

The Affairs Department, together with other structural subdivisions of the Committee, holds meetings of colleagues, control meetings, submits reports and information to the Government of the Republic, maintains correspondence with international organizations, foreign countries, holds meetings with foreign guests, law enforcement officers of the Committee, training seminars for employees, personnel certification, considers applications of individuals and legal entities, tenders for the selection of contractors for the construction of industry facilities, provides technical and living conditions for the activities of employees and ensures the required level of activities. The management of the Affairs Department believes that a good result of the activity of the Central Office of the Committee depends on the responsibility and competence of the staff of the Department.
