Meeting of the Chairman of the Committee with representatives of FAO

                                                                             

On August 25, 2022, Sheralizod Bahodur Ahmadjon, Chairman of the Committee on Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, met with Ms. Tanya Santivanez, Senior Agricultural Officer, FAO Regional Office for Europe and Central Asia.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the implementation of environmental projects.

The issues of developing new projects and initiatives in the field of climate change, agro-biodiversity, transparency, information exchange, etc. were also discussed.

The parties during the meeting expressed their views on the prospects for cooperation between the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and FAO.
