Final Plenary session of the Subsidiary Body on Scientific, Technical and Technological Advice (SBSTTA-24) of the UN Convention on Biodiversity

March 27, 2022, the SBSTTA-24 Final Plenary session chaired by Hesiqio Benitez Dias continued its work on the discussion and adoption of the final documents on the Global Biodiversity Framework, IPBES Work Program, Synthetic Biology, Risk Assessment and Risk Management, Biodiversity and Agriculture, Invasive Alien Species, Biodiversity and Health, Marine and Coastal Biodiversity and Adoption of the final report.

Parties to the Convention submitted a series of proposals and a recommendation in the outcome documents of SBSTTA-24 and were adopted by taking into account the proposed recommendations.
