Carrying out the action "Clean Coast", dedicated to the World Environment Day in Sughd region                              

In order to implement the action plan dedicated to the upcoming national holidays and in accordance with the plan of environmental authorities on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of World Environment Day in the region at the initiative of the Main Department of Environmental Protection in the region was held an action "Clean the coast".

Representatives of organizations and departments, students and high and secondary educational establishments, urban and rural residents, a total of more than 10.5 thousand people took part in the action.

As a result of this action, 41.6 km of water reservoir shores were cleaned of various wastes, including plastic ones, and 64.3 cubic meters of wastes were taken to official landfills in cities and districts.
