2 tons of fish seized

During the nine months of this year, the Environmental Protection Department of Dushanbe, in cooperation with the Department of Ecology and Tourism of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan in Dushanbe, implemented a number of measures to prevent violations in the protection of flora and fauna.

In the course of joint raids and checks, seven drivers were brought to administrative responsibility for carrying firewood without the necessary documents.

In order to preserve flora and fauna, 9 citizens were brought to administrative responsibility for unauthorized collection and sale of medicinal plants during raids on markets in Dushanbe.

In order to prevent violations in the field of environmental protection, prevent polluted vehicles from entering the territory of the capital, inspectors of the Department of Ecology and Tourism of the Ministry of Interior in Dushanbe with the use of special devices for measuring toxicity of fuel wastes (CO2) in vehicles registered 1102 cases of violations, using Article 230 of the Administrative Code of the RT.

During 9 months of the current year the Department of Environment Protection of Dushanbe city together with the Department of Ecology and Tourism of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan in Dushanbe city seized 2 tons and 34 kg of fish, 8 administrative protocols of administrative violation were drawn up.
