Summary of the Committee's Activities in the First Half of 2025                

                                          

On July 11, 2025, a broad consultative meeting of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan was held at the building of the Agency for Hydrometeorology. The meeting was chaired by the Head of the Committee, Sheralizoda Bahodur Ahmadjon, and attended by Salimzoda Salim Zoir, representative of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the leadership of the Committee's central office, the Agency for Hydrometeorology, the State Institution "Specially Protected Natural Areas," as well as heads of main departments, departments and divisions of environmental protection in cities and districts, scientific centers, and active sectoral projects.

The meeting agenda focused on summarizing the results of activities during the first half of the year and determining the tasks for the third quarter of 2025.

The First Deputy Chairman of the Committee, Shukurzoda I.Sh., delivered a detailed report on the activities of the environmental protection bodies in the first half of the current year.

Afterward, heads of regional subdivisions, including Sabzali Sh. from GBAO, Abdumalikzoda B. from Sughd Region, Sobirzoda Q. from Khatlon Region, Rahmonali M. from Kulob Region, and Nazirzoda A. from Dushanbe City, as well as heads of environmental protection departments and divisions in cities and districts under republican subordination, presented their reports on the outcomes of their work.

The Head of the Committee gave specific instructions and assignments to address shortcomings, ensure timely implementation of plans, comply with civil service requirements, and enhance the ecological awareness of society.

The decision of the consultative meeting, which incorporates the results of all discussions and proposals, will be sent to all subordinate structures of the Committee for implementation after approval.
