EXHIBITION "STORY OF THE GLACIERS"                   

                                          

From May 29 to June 3, 2025, in cooperation with the Swiss Cooperation Office in Tajikistan and the University of Fribourg, Switzerland, an exhibition entitled “Story of the Glaciers” was held in the “Botanical Garden” of Dushanbe as part of the High-Level International Conference on Glacier Protection. The exhibition focused on the existence, memory, and disappearance of glaciers, and was visited by both domestic and international guests.

The exhibition presented samples of permanent ice formations, the importance of glaciers, and other related topics to the visitors.

In the concluding part of the event, First Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Shukurzoda Isfandiyor, and Director of the Swiss Cooperation Office in Tajikistan, Ms. Salome Steib, presented Certificates of Creative Contribution on glacier-related topics to active participants.
