Planting of Over Ten Thousand Shade Trees in the Murghab District                   

                                          

In accordance with the instructions and guidance of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, aimed at greening the environment and beautifying our beloved homeland — Tajikistan, on April 18 of this year, a new orchard covering ten hectares was established in the Murghab District. The event was attended by the leadership of the Executive Body of State Authority of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region, as well as the leadership and other employees of the Murghab District authorities. More than 10,000 shade trees were planted in this newly developed area.

It is worth noting that thanks to the ongoing care of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, especially the respected Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, construction and improvement efforts in the high-mountain district of Murghab have intensified, and the standard of living of the population has significantly improved.

According to available information, the creation of this extensive orchard was supported by all relevant structures and institutions of the region and the district.

The residents of Murghab, who participated in this initiative with dedication and heartfelt enthusiasm, expressed their sincere gratitude to the Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, the regional governor, and the Committee for Environmental Protection.
