Community Cleanup in the "Dushanbe Lake" Area to Support Environmental Protection                   

                                          

At the initiative of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, and with the active participation of local residents, including the Environmental Protection Department of Varzob District, a collective cleanup was organized in the "Dushanbe Lake" area, located near the Dushanbe–Varzob highway. The main focus of the event was to loosen the soil around the base of saplings.

The primary objective of this initiative was to care for previously planted trees and improve the conditions for their growth and development. The work facilitated better access to water and nutrients for the roots. Additionally, mineral fertilizers were applied to help promote healthy growth of the young trees.

Such initiatives, aimed at beautifying and greening the environment, contribute to the implementation of the State Greenery Program and help mitigate the exceptional rate of climate warming.

Similar public environmental activities will continue in other regions of the country to ensure a clean and healthy environment for both present and future generations.
