Government Commission's Visit to Greenery Zones of Ministries, Agencies, Enterprises, and Institutions                   


                                          


On April 11, 2025, a government commission led by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Ziyozoda Sulaimon Rizo, and the Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Sheralizoda Bahodur Ahmadjon, visited afforested areas on the hills and elevated zones within the city of Dushanbe and surrounding districts. These areas have been assigned to various ministries, agencies, national enterprises, organizations, and institutions for tree planting, as part of the implementation of the State Greenery Program of the Republic of Tajikistan for the period up to 2040 and its Action Plan for 2025–2027.

The commission inspected greenery work carried out by the Ministry of Agriculture, the Customs Service, the State Unitary Enterprise “Railway of Tajikistan,” and the Accounts Chamber of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Ismoili Somoni district of Dushanbe, as well as in the towns and villages of Vahdat and the Varzob district. Following the inspection, specific instructions and useful recommendations were given to the responsible officials regarding the care and protection of saplings to ensure their healthy growth and further development.

Additionally, the government commission reviewed progress on the establishment of a tree nursery by the environmental protection authorities in the city of Vahdat. Guidance was provided to ensure high-quality work and effective operation of the nursery.

It is noteworthy that this visit supports the timely and high-quality implementation of directives from the country’s top leadership, particularly in relation to the State Greenery Program of the Republic of Tajikistan up to 2040 and its Action Plan for 2025–2027.
