Appointment of the First Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection                   

                                          

On January 29, 2025, the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan underwent personnel changes. Shukurzoda Isfandiyor Shukur was appointed as the First Deputy Chairman of the Committee. He replaced Qiyomzoda Zarafo Sufijon, who over the years has made a significant contribution to the development of environmental policies and the implementation of effective environmental protection programs.

The official introduction of the new deputy took place with the participation of Nurullo Nizomi, a representative of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, during a working meeting chaired by the head of the Committee, Sheralizoda Bahodur Ahmadjon. In his speech, he highlighted Shukurzoda’s high level of professionalism and experience, emphasizing his important role in the further development of environmental protection policies in the country.

Shukurzoda Isfandiyor Shukur has previously held responsible positions in the country's environmental structures and has significant experience in the field of environmental protection. It is expected that his work in the new position will contribute to strengthening measures for ecosystem protection, the efficient use of natural resources, and the implementation of national and international environmental programs.
