Participation of the Deputy Prime Minister in the Tree Planting Campaign in Mastchoh District
The Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan, Sulaimon Ziyozoda, took part in a tree planting campaign in Mastchoh District as part of his working visit. The event was held at the auxiliary farm of the district’s Department of Environmental Protection and was organized to improve the environment and expand green spaces in Mastchoh.
The auxiliary farm of the Department of Environmental Protection in Mastchoh District was established to cultivate various types of trees adapted to the region's climate. The total area of the farm is 5 hectares, and according to the plan, more than 200,000 shade and ornamental trees will be planted here. This initiative contributes to environmental improvement and air quality enhancement in the region, aligning with the directives of the Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, in promoting environmental awareness and preventing negative climate changes.
Speaking at the tree planting event, Sulaimon Ziyozoda emphasized that greening is one of the priority areas of the country's environmental policy. Tree planting plays a crucial role not only in improving the environment but also in enhancing the quality of life for the population.
Additionally, the Deputy Prime Minister instructed responsible officials to pay special attention to the care and cultivation of the planted trees. “We must ensure collective cooperation for the full implementation of greening programs,” he added.
The event was attended by a wide range of employees from the Department of Environmental Protection and local community representatives. The main goal of this campaign is not only to plant trees but also to promote environmental awareness and engage more people in "green" initiatives.
