Participation of the Chairman of the Committee in the tree planting campaign in the Shakhristan district of the Sughd region                  

                                          

In order to practically implement the instructions and orders of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Leader of the Nation, respected Emomali Rahmon on greening the environment, implement the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan "State Program for Greening the Republic of Tajikistan for the Period up to 2040", adopted on June 29, 2024, No. 374, and the decision of the Executive Body of State Authority of the Sughd Region dated November 1, 2024, No. 296, with the participation of the Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Sheralizoda Bakhodur Akhmadjon, the Chairman of the Shahristan district Akramzoda Bakhodur, the Head of the Main Department of Environmental Protection in the region Kholzoda Sukhrob, responsible persons and residents of jamoats in the Darai Sabz area, where the nursery under the jurisdiction of the environmental protection department is located, a tree planting campaign was held.

A certain number of evergreen trees - Crimean pine - were planted in this nursery, and a total of 610 evergreen pine seedlings were planted along the Dushanbe-Chanak road.

The Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection Sheralizoda B. A. noted that this initiative is based on the instructions of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the respected Emomali Rahmon on the implementation of environmental policy, the development of a "green economy", adaptation to climate change, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and ensuring the general environmental safety of the population.

The Chairman of the Committee gave scientifically based useful advice to the participants of the action on the proper care of seedlings, growing fruits, as well as maintaining the cleanliness of the environment from waste.
