Familiarization of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan with preparations for the tree planting campaign in the city of Vahdat                     

                                          

On December 3 of this year, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan, respected Ziyozoda Sulaymon Rizoi, visited the city of Vahdat to familiarize himself with the preparations for the tree planting and landscaping campaign on the Dushanbe-Vahdat-Romit, Vahdat-Nurek highways, as well as with the preparatory work in the new nursery of the city. The Deputy Prime Minister was accompanied by the leadership of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the executive body of state power of the city of Vahdat and local residents.

It should be noted that on the initiative and with the assistance of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, 1,500 evergreen pine seedlings were delivered for planting trees along the highways and on the slopes of the city of Vahdat.

Residents of rural jamoats of Vahdat city actively participated in the greening campaign in the city. Deputy Prime Minister Ziyozoda S. R. gave specific instructions and recommendations to responsible persons on the selection of land for planting seedlings, the method of planting them, care and growth of each seedling. It was noted that the work should be carried out in accordance with the recommendations of industry specialists and in compliance with agrotechnical standards.

At the initiative of the environmental protection department in the city of Vahdat, a nursery for growing seedlings was organized in the rural jamoat of Rajab Ismail on an area of ​​2 hectares.
