The National Pavilion of Tajikistan celebrated President's Day at COP29
On November 16, the Republic of Tajikistan celebrated President's Day. This day is a source of pride for every Tajik citizen and a symbol of gratitude for the historical merits of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, the Leader of the Nation, the respected Emomali Rahmon.
At the initiative of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, within the framework of COP29, a festive event dedicated to this important date was held at the National Pavilion of Tajikistan at COP29 in Baku.
The event began with an opening speech by the Chairman of the Majlisi Namoyandagon Mahmadtoir Zokirzoda, who noted in his remarks that if we look at the incomparable merits of the Leader of the Nation with his creative and innovative approach, the high level of professionalism and political qualities as a unique personality, then everyone can find their reflection in the face of the respected Leader of the Nation. In fact, the service, self-sacrifice, and generosity of our President is a lesson for every self-conscious, patriotic citizen of our country.
Then the Chairman of the Environmental Protection Committee Bahadur Sheralizoda spoke, noting the exceptional importance of this date for the people of Tajikistan. He emphasized that thanks to the enormous merits of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, the Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan His Excellency Mr Emomali Rahmon, the country was saved from devastation, peace and stability were restored.
The Ambassador of Tajikistan to the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilhom Abdurrahmon also made speeches, noting that under the leadership of the Leader of the Nation, Tajikistan has established diplomatic relations with more than 180 countries in more than 30 years and has become a full member of 57 international and regional organizations.
After the official part, the guests visited the exhibition of books by the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and the exposition of paintings of the unique nature of our country.
