The campaign "Cleanliness of the Shore" was held in the capital on the right bank of the Dushanbe River                   

                                          

On September 21, 2024, at the initiative of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, together with the Coca-Cola company, an environmental campaign "Cleanliness of the Shore" was held on the right bank of the Dushanbe River near the Evar shopping center and the railway bridge of the capital in honor of World Cleanup Day.

The event was attended by the Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Sheralizoda Bakhodur Akhmadjon, General Director of the Coca-Cola Company Burak Atesh, Resident Representative of the World Bank Group in Tajikistan, the European Region and Central Asia Ozon Sevimli.

At the beginning of the event, the Chairman of the Committee Sheralizoda B. A., speaking with a speech, stated that the Committee for Environmental Protection, on cleaning nature from plastic items, is establishing cooperation with all organizations and institutions, regardless of ownership, and the initiatives under consideration in the city of Dushanbe are among the following events. It was especially noted that this year, according to the constructive proposals and initiatives of the Chairman of the city of Dushanbe, respected Rustam Emomali, every resident of the capital should contribute to the cleanliness and order of the city, as well as popularize the ecological culture of the city among others.

The participants, including employees of the central office of the Committee, the Main Department of Environmental Protection of the city of Dushanbe, other participants with propaganda slogans and divided groups, unanimously took part in the process of this action and contributed to maintaining the cleanliness of the environment.

It should be noted that during the opening of this event, the Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection presented letters of gratitude to several partner trading companies for their assistance and contribution to the organization and holding of the international marathon, which took place in “Haftkul” in the city of Penjikent in early September of this year in a solemn atmosphere.
