Central Asian Air Quality Conference AQCA 2024
On September 19-20, 2024, the 3rd Central Asian Air Quality Conference AQCA 2024 was held in Almaty, Republic of Kazakhstan, on the theme "Strengthening regional cooperation in air quality and dust storm monitoring in the context of climate change" with the participation of high-level representatives of the environmental protection sphere of the Central Asian countries, the United Nations Environment Program, international organizations, researchers and experts, and representatives of the media.
It is worth noting that at the first session of the conference, which was held on the topic of "Overview of approaches to monitoring air quality and dust in Central Asian countries", the head of the Department of State Control over the Use and Protection of Atmospheric Air of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan - Kalandarzoda Abdukayum took part and made a report on the topic of "State system for monitoring air quality and dust storms in Tajikistan".
This event was held for 2 days in 8 sessions, during which more than 60 experts and industry specialists made scientific reports.
