Carrying out the “Cleanliness of the Coast” campaign in the Tebalaya ravine in the city of Kulob                  

                                          

In order to prevent pollution of coasts, rivers, canals and ditches and to involve as many citizens as possible in improving the sanitary and ecological state of the local environment, measures are being taken.

As the Committee was informed, on the initiative of the Department of Environmental Protection in the Kulyab region of the Khatlon region, the environmental protection department in the city of Kulyab together with the housing and communal services department of the city of Kulyab, in the villages of S. Daminova, O. Sarvarova, Khisoriyon, Chappayeva and Lokhuti, which are located around the Tebalai ravine, the “Cleanliness of the Coast” campaign was held.

More than 350 employees of various professions, including local residents, took part in the action. As a result, 3,500 square meters of household and industrial waste were cleaned from inside and around the Tebalay canal, and 5 m3 of waste was removed to the city landfill using 3 units of equipment.
