Organization and holding of the campaign "Clean Coast" on the banks of the Dushanbe River                   

                                          

As part of the implementation of the goals of the International Decade for Action "Water for Sustainable Development, 2018-2028" on the initiative of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and with the participation of the Executive Committee of the People's Democratic Party of Tajikistan in the Sino district of Dushanbe on November 18 this year with the involvement of organizations and institutions in the Sino district, including employees The Main Department of Environmental Protection, its departments, structures of housing and communal services, health and education, teachers and students of universities and institutes in the area near the railway bridge on the banks of the Dushanbe River, located on N. Huvaidulloev Street, an environmental campaign "Clean Shore" was held.

At the same time, in two places on the right side of the Dushanbe River, in front of the institution of general secondary education No. 72, gymnasium No. 4 and the Dunei Nav complex in the Firdavsi district of Dushanbe, an environmental action was held, which was attended by teachers and students of educational institutions, students of the State University of Business of the Republic of Tajikistan, the University of Entrepreneurship and tourism of Tajikistan, Technological University of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mining College named after S. Yusupova, the youth sector of the district, volunteers from the Russian-Tajik Slavic University.

In total, more than 500 people took part in this action, the length of 3 km along the Dushanbe River was cleared of garbage, 2.8 m3 of collected waste was taken to an official landfill using municipal equipment.

Such environmental events are often held on days of favorable autumn weather. Residents of the republic have an active public position and take an interested part in such public events, which contributes to maintaining cleanliness and order in cities and districts of the country, including in the capital of the country - the city of Dushanbe.
