Side event on “Green Resilient City” At the 28^th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, Dubai, UAE                   

                                          

Taking place on 5 December when the thematic focus will be green energy, the synergies between the different municipal sectors and their interface with energy will be explored through project examples including district heating, the local distribution grid and electric mobility, and how both the public and private sector has a crucial role in supporting and delivering green city solutions.

The panel will showcase best practice in advancing climate action in cities. The panel will comprise representatives from Tajikistan’s local and national government, Financial Institutions with City specific programmes, including EBRD Green Cities and the private sector. 

The panel will be a platform to announce Tajikistan joining the EBRD GCF Green Cities Facility, unlocking access of green projects to concessional loans, grants and technical assistance for project preparation.
