Operation "Clean Air" in the city of Penjikent               

                                          

According to the work plan, in order to reduce emissions of harmful substances into the atmosphere, employees of the Environmental Protection Department in the city of Penjikent, in cooperation with employees of the Environmental and Tourist Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, conducted operation "Clean Air" in Zarafshan district on A. Rudaki Avenue of the city.

During the operation, 55 cars of various brands were subjected to analytical verification, and the amount of pollutants released into the atmosphere as a result of fuel combustion (diesel fuel, gasoline and liquefied gas) was determined. During the operation, protocols on administrative offenses were drawn up for drivers of 6 vehicles that violated the norms of the state standard and emitted pollutants into the atmosphere in excess of the norm (CO gas) and sent to the traffic police department of the city for taking measures.
