Meeting with drivers at the Department of Environmental Protection in the city of Penjikent

              

                                          

One of the priority areas of activity of environmental protection authorities is the prevention of violations of legal requirements in the industry.

In order to prevent violations of the requirements of the laws of the Republic of Tajikistan "On Environmental Protection", "On Subsoil" and "On industrial and consumer waste", a meeting of the head of the department with 25 drivers of cargo vehicles of the city was organized and held in the conference hall of the Department of Environmental Protection in the city of Penjikent.

During the meeting, the participants were provided with detailed information on the conservation and efficient use of natural resources, illegal extraction of common minerals, waste management, the requirements of current laws and other issues related to these areas.

Explanatory work also makes a significant contribution to the implementation of the "State Comprehensive Program for the development of environmental education and education of the population of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2021-2025" and contributes to the elimination of deficiencies and violations, their causes and conditions of their occurrence.

At the end, the participants received concrete answers to their questions related to the prevention of violations, and assessed the meeting as timely.
