Contest - 8th Republican Exhibition of singing birds in Khujand                 

                                          

A competition – the eighth republican review of graceful birds was held at the state institution of the Loik Sherali Youth Palace in Khujand. In total, more than 40 people, breeders of songbirds from the capital city of Dushanbe, from the cities and districts of Khujand, Istaravshan and Devashtich of Sughd region took part in the competition-exhibition.

According to the terms of the event, 25 songbirds from all participants were admitted to the competition, the judges evaluated each bird after listening.

As a result of the competition, participants from the city of Khujand took first and third place, a participant from the city of Dushanbe took second place, and were also awarded a diploma of the Main Department of Environmental Protection in the region, medals, cups and gifts. In addition, the representative of the head office presented the winner of the contest – the 8th Republican exhibition of graceful Songbirds with the Red Book of the Republic of Tajikistan.

In addition, 10 people were awarded a certificate of appreciation of the Main Department of Environmental Protection of the region for their active participation.

The Main Department of Environmental Protection in the region will continue to support enthusiasts and bird lovers in the field, for the interest of bird lovers, it will continue to hold such competitions – the display of original and songbirds, bird festival and other events important to increase the level of knowledge about birds, environmental awareness of the population.
