Meeting with the youth of the Committee on the topic "Education of patriotism of citizens – a factor in strengthening the foundations of national statehood"                   

                                          

On October 24, 2023, at the initiative of the Committee for Environmental Protection and the Committee for Youth and Sports under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, a meeting was held in the Committee building on the topic "Education of patriotism of citizens – a factor in strengthening the foundations of national statehood".

The purpose of the meeting was to clarify the content and essence of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On education of patriotism of citizens", adopted on December 24, 2022, No. 1920, as well as to discuss the implementation of the priority directions of the "Strategy of the State Youth Policy of the Republic of Tajikistan for the period up to 2030" and "The National Strategy of the Republic of Tajikistan on countering terrorism and extremism for 2021-2025".

It was noted that young people are an active part of society and are always under the attention of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and especially the Leader of the Nation, respected Emomali Rahmon. In his speeches, the Head of State constantly expresses confidence in the active part of society - the youth. Today, in order to strengthen the protection of the achievements of independence and national and cultural values, as well as to get rid of ideological crises and xenophobia, it is necessary to strengthen the education of patriotism. Therefore, it is the duty of every citizen of the republic to be a patriot and consciously contribute to the development of Tajikistan.

At the end of the meeting, the Youth Union of Tajikistan awarded a number of young active members of the Environmental Protection Committee under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan with industry awards.
