Solemn celebration of "Mehrgan" in the "Firdausi Park" of Dushanbe                   

                                          

On October 15, 2023, the Mehrgan holiday was solemnly celebrated in the Firdausi Park in Dushanbe. At the festival, with the participation of numerous guests and employees of the relevant industries, various varieties of honey, types of agricultural machinery, rice, and other products were put up for sale. Along with ministries, departments, organizations, institutions and rural workers, an exhibition of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan was organized on the designated territory. The exhibition of the Committee was organized about the achievements of environmental protection bodies, the Agency for Meteorology, the State Institution "Specially Protected Natural Territories", scientific centers and other environmental protection institutions, which gave the holiday a special solemnity.

Mehrgan, like Navruz, is the embodiment of good human feelings, reflecting blessings for the rich harvest of farmers. Thanks to the tireless efforts of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, the Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, HE Emomali Rahmon, these ancient holidays have been revived and are celebrated at the national level.
