Visit of active participants of the "Green Inspectors" to the city of Yangiabad of the Republic of Uzbekistan                   

                                          

In order to ensure the implementation of the Action Plan for the implementation of the "Comprehensive State Program for the Development of Education and Environmental Education of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2021-2025", the Department of Environmental Protection of the Sughd region has close and fruitful cooperation with the Public Organization "Youth Environmental Protection Group" and the Department of Education of the region.

Taking into account the implementation of the project to develop education and improve environmental literacy of young people in 6 institutions of general secondary education in the city of Istiqlol and 4 such institutions in the rural community of Gaziyan B.Gafurovsky district, a total of 10 teams of the "Green Inspectors" process were created, and a number of educational and practical environmental activities have been carried out over the past two years.

According to the cooperation plan, on October 6-8, 2023, 16 active participants of the "Green Inspectors" group of the above educational institutions, as well as representatives of the regional environmental protection Department, the regional education department, the education departments of Istiqlol and B. Gafurovsky district, the Public Organization "Youth Environmental Protection Group", a total of 8 people left for the city of Yangiabad of the Republic Uzbekistan to participate in a mobile ecological camp. For two days, a team exercise was held with representatives of the "Green Inspectors" of the city of Dukent of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Instructor – teacher, master of sports in mountain tourism, winner of the nomination "Coach of the Year - 2023" and 2 instructors - mountain guides conducted a series of master classes and practical classes, mainly related to ecological tourism. At the same time, an educational and practical mountain touristic trip to the "Chiltensoy Gorge" of the Western Tien Shan district of the Okhangaron district of the Tashkent region of the Republic of Uzbekistan and quiz games with the teams of "Green Inspectors" were held. As a result of the trip, the participants of the mobile ecological camp from Sughd region were presented with souvenirs, a certificate of passing a master class and a certificate of conducting a mountain hike from the organizers. Also, the Red Book of the Republic of Tajikistan was presented to the organizers by a representative of the Main Department of Environmental Protection in the Sughd region.

It is worth noting that the mobile environmental camp was held with the support of the OSCE Office in Dushanbe and the Republic of Uzbekistan.
