The results of the Committee's activities for 9 months of 2023 have been summed up                   

                                          

On October 9, 2023, an expanded meeting of the Board of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan was held on the results of the activities of the Committee and its subordinate bodies for 9 months of 2023 with the participation of heads and employees of structural divisions of the central office of the Committee, the Agency for Hydrometeorology, the "Specially Protected Natural Territories", heads of environmental protection departments in GBAO, regions, the city of Dushanbe, the Department of Environmental Protection in the Kulyab region, departments and sectors of environmental protection of cities and districts of the republic, other heads of organizations of the Committee system and ongoing projects.

According to the agenda of the meeting, Deputy Chairman of the Committee Mavlodod A. M. made an analytical report.

At the meeting , the heads of the main departments of environmental protection in GBAO M. Nazaraliev also reported on their activities, in the Sughd region Gufronzoda A., in the Khatlon region Saidzoda I., head of the Department of Environmental Protection in the Kulyab zone Sahibov K., head of the Main Department of Environmental Protection in Dushanbe Rahmonzoda L., as well as heads of departments and sectors of environmental protection of districts of republican subordination.

The Chairman of the Committee, B. A. Sheralizoda, analyzed in detail the spheres of activity of the industry in the areas of state control, the level of environmental education of the population, the activities of centers and institutions subordinate to the Committee, and also discussed with officials questions about the causes and factors of the absence of significant indicators of some local authorities. At the meeting, along with the successes, shortcomings and omissions were noted.

In order to improve the level of knowledge and skills of inspectors, it was instructed to prepare regulatory documents, methodological guidelines in the form of a booklet and distribute them to inspectors.

The executives explained the reasons and factors and assured the management of the Committee that appropriate measures would be taken on all comments received.

At the same time, the Chairman of the Committee gave specific instructions on ensuring the proper performance of his duties, the effectiveness of the activities of industry inspectors and heads of local industry bodies and structural divisions of the Committee.

After a comprehensive consideration of the issues on the agenda of the board meeting, taking into account the tasks set and the proposals made, which will be sent to all bodies and divisions of the Committee for execution and taking the necessary measures.
