Results of the activities of the Main Department of Environmental Protection in Dushanbe for nine months in 2023                 

                                          

In the meeting room of the Main Department of Environmental Protection in the city of Dushanbe, a meeting was held on the results of the nine-month activity of the Main Department and environmental protection departments of the districts of the capital with the participation of the Deputy Chairman of the Committee Abdukadir Mavlodod. The head of the Environmental Protection Department in the city of Dushanbe, Loik Rahmonzoda, during the analysis of the structure's activities, noted that during this period administrative measures were taken against 2,140 offenders.

It was also noted that in accordance with the instructions of the Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan during this period, the campaign "Clean Coast" was held 55 times, 45,639 square meters of the beach area was cleaned and 864.9 m3 of garbage was collected and removed. In the districts of the capital, the campaign "Clean Area" was held 83 times, 244.1 m3 of garbage was removed.

 In the direction of landscaping, according to the relevant decision of the Chairman of the city of Dushanbe, 265,185 ornamental, shady, fruit-bearing trees and shrubs were planted during the gardening season. Lawns were cultivated on an area of 116,958 m2 and 15,947,307 seasonal and perennial flowers were planted.

In connection with the implementation of the "Comprehensive State Program for the Development of Environmental Education and Enlightenment of the population of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2021-2025", 153 meetings were held in educational institutions and among the population.

Then Abdukadir Mavlodod, Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, analyzed the results of the work of the Main Department for nine months, instructed industry workers to take concrete measures to eliminate existing shortcomings.
