Meeting of the Chairman of the Committee Sheralizoda B. A. with the new head of the Department of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) Daniel Passon                 

                                          

On October 9, 2023, the Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Sheralizoda B. A. met with the new head of the Department of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) for the Western Balkans, Central Asia and Eastern Europe, Daniel Passon.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the current situation and prospects of cooperation between the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and GIZ in the field of environmental protection, and also signed an Agreement on the implementation of a technical cooperation project within the framework of the Regional Program "Climate Risk Management in Central Asia". The aim of the Program is to improve the transboundary climate and disaster risk management in Central Asia.

The sides expressed satisfaction with the bilateral cooperation.
