Meeting of the UN Environment Program Director for Governor Affairs with professors and students of the Tajik National University                   

                                          

Within the framework of the working visit of the Head of the Department of International Relations of the United Nations Environment Programme in New York to the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Jamil Ahmad (UN Environment Programme in Asia Pacific), a meeting and open lesson with teachers and students of the National University of Tajikistan was held on October 30, 2023. The Rector of the Tajik National University, Prof. Khushvakhtzoda Kobiljon, made a speech and welcomed the guests.

During the speech international initiatives and proposals of the Republic of Tajikistan on environmental protection, water, and ecology were presented, and scientific achievements of teachers and students in the development of biological sciences and ecology were noted.

After the open lecture of the Head of the Department of Governor Affairs of the UN Environment Program in New York, a question and answer session on the proposed topic was held between teachers, students, and the guest of the event, and Mr. Jamil Ahmad gave specific answers to numerous questions of the audience participants.
