PARTICIPATION OF THE UNIVERSITY OF LANGUAGES IN THE ENVIRONMENTAL CAMPAIGN                 

                                          

As part of the implementation of the order of the Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan to improve the condition of the banks, rivers and channels, water sources under the jurisdiction of the Environmental Protection Department of the city of Dushanbe, with the participation of teachers and students of the International University of Foreign Languages of Tajikistan named after Sotim Ulugzoda, an environmental campaign "Clean Coast".

This action took place on the right bank of the Dushanbe River, in which 200 teachers and students of this university actively participated, the coastal area was cleaned at a distance of 165 meters, 4.8 m³ of solid household and plastic waste was collected and removed.

During the garbage collection process, it turned out that most of the garbage is made up of plastic containers. In fact, in modern society, an increase in the amount of plastic waste is considered one of the environmental problems that have a greater negative impact on the environment.

Following the results of the environmental event, the Department of Environmental Protection in the city of Dushanbe awarded a Certificate of Honor to the leadership of the Sotim Ulugzoda International University of Foreign Languages of Tajikistan for their activity in environmental protection.
