Carrying out environmental campaigns in the Rudaki district                     

                         

According to the action plan of the Department of Environmental Protection in the Rudaki district, a campaign "Clean Coast" was held in the rural jamoat of Zainabad. More than 80 citizens took part in the event, 500 meters were cleaned and 8.0 cubic meters of garbage were taken to the official landfill.

In the rural jamoat of Sultanabad and the village of Mirzo Tursunzade, a campaign "Clean Area" was held with the participation of 185 residents, as a result of which a distance of 1,500 meters was cleared of garbage and wildly growing shrub plants, as well as 11 cubic meters of garbage were taken to the official landfill.

Also in the rural jamoats of Chorgultyube and Sultanabad, a campaign "Clean Road" was held. 165 residents of these settlements took part in the action, 2,200 meters of weeds and various waste were cleared, 7 cubic meters of garbage were taken to the official landfill of the district.

Specialists of the Environmental Protection Department of the Rudaki district in the village of Mirzo Tursunzade together with employees of the Association of Water Users of the Kuktosh district in the light of the implementation of the "Comprehensive State Program for the Development of Environmental Education and Enlightenment of the population of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2021-2025" conducted relevant conversations on environmental protection and improving environmental literacy of the population.
