Solemn meeting dedicated to the 32nd anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan
On September 8, 2023, the Committee for Environmental Protection of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan held a solemn event dedicated to the 32nd anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The event was attended by the management of the Committee, guests, heads, and employees of structural units of the central apparatus, subordinate centers and institutions of the Committee.
The event was opened by Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Sheralizoda Bahodur Ahmadjon, who congratulated the employees of the industry on the 32nd anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan. Ms. Rahmonova Adolat, a veteran of the civil service, professor of the National University of Tajikistan, journalist Mr. Azimov Azamjon Kholmatovich, spoke about the significance and history of the State Independence of Tajikistan, who noted the outstanding role of the Founder of National Peace and Unity - the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, HE Emomali Rahmon in strengthening the independence of the Republic, consolidating peace in the Republic.
Then, in a solemn ceremony, two representatives of the country’s industrial enterprises, whose activities are exemplary for the protection of the environment, were awarded certificates of merit of the Committee, Ensuring the environmental safety of the population and cooperating closely with the Committee on Environmental Protection of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan. At the same time, the winners of the competition for the best TV, radio and press materials among mass media on the theme «Glaciers of Tajikistan - a source of clean water and the basis of development of «green economy», which was previously announced by the Committee, were awarded diplomas, and monetary awards.
At the end of the event, a cultural program dedicated to the State Independence Day, where patriotic songs about the Homeland of Independence were played.
