EXHIBITION OF THE COMMITTEE’S ACHIEVEMENTS AT THE FESTIVAL EXHIBITION OF FOLK CRAFTS                   

                                          

In order to implement the planned activities «Festival- exhibitions, festivals and competitions of traditions and folk crafts in the Republic of Tajikistan for 2023», approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan on January 3, 2023, RP-318, 14 - 15 September this year in the State Institution «Park of Culture and Recreation named after Abulkasim Firdavsy» in Dushanbe on the initiative of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Executive Body of the State Authority of Dushanbe «Exhibition of national dishes, watermelons, melons, pumpkins, apples, grapes and Oshi plova festival».

According to AMIT «Khovar», the exhibition was attended by high-ranking representatives of Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, heads and representatives of other ministries and departments, representatives and farmers of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region, Sughd and Khatlon regions, cities and districts under the republican subordination.

It should be noted that at the exhibition along with other ministries and departments, organizations and institutions the achievements of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, such as ergonomic tents, map and mock-up of the state natural reserve «Tiger Beam», were demonstrated by local executive bodies of state powerMobile Environmental Monitoring Laboratory, slogans and promotional print materials related to the environmental sector.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan, the main purpose of this event was to promote the development of the agricultural industry, display of grown products reviving the traditions of holding the celebrations of watermelon, melon, pumpkin, apples and grapes, as well as demonstration and presentation of national cuisine.
