Conducting environmental events and awareness-raising activities within the framework of the implementation of the Environmental Program                     

                                          

Based on the work plan of the Department of Environmental Protection in the Rudaki district, an action "Cleanliness of the area" was held in the rural jamoat of Zainababad with the participation of 80 residents of the village of Oli Somon. 140 people took part in the action in the rural jamoat of Rohati, 1200 meters of district roads and sidewalks were cleared, 8 cubic meters of waste were collected and removed.

1,500 meters of rural streets, roadsides, territories of enterprises and institutions have been cleared in Guliston rural jamoat. The event was held with the participation of 83 residents of the village, 4 cubic meters of waste were taken to the official landfill.

Also, an action "Cleanliness of the coast" was held in the rural jamoat of Rohati. 80 people took part in the event, 700 cubic meters of soil were removed from the canal bank with the help of special equipment, 4 cubic meters of waste were taken to the official landfill of the city of Dushanbe.

In the Guliston rural jamoat, with the participation of 78 people, the 1600-meter coast of the main Mavlono canal to the Kofarnigan River was cleared of all types of garbage, and 6 cubic meters of garbage were taken to the official landfill.

In order to protect the environment and increase the level of ecological culture of the population, specialists of the Environmental Protection Department in the Rudaki district together with employees of the Statistics Department under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Rudaki district held a meeting with the population to discuss the "Comprehensive State Program for the Development of education and environmental education of the population of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2021-2025".
