Opening of the Square of the Flag and the Emblem of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Murgab district of GBAO

                    

As part of the working trip of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the respected Emomali Rahmon, to the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region, according to the Action Plan to prepare for a worthy meeting of the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, a number of facilities were put into operation in the Murgab region.

One of the important objects is the Flag and Emblem Square of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Murgab district of GBAO, which contributes to the patriotic education of the inhabitants of this area.

The construction of the Flag and Emblem Square of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Murgab district of GBAO began in 2020, the design work was completed by Marufshahrsoz Limited Liability Company, construction work at this facility was carried out by Badakhshanrokh International Limited Liability Company.

The Flag and Emblem Square of the Republic of Tajikistan will become the venue for political events, national holidays and other celebrations that will call for the protection of national holiness, the protection of the Motherland, the protection of the country's nature, the development of friendship between Tajiks and Kyrgyz, representatives of other peoples and conscientious work for development and prosperity our country.

The total area of the Flag and Emblem of the Republic of Tajikistan is 2800 m2, the height of the Flag is 35 meters, its size is 12x6 m, the height of the coat of arms is 22 m, and the size of the circle is 1.8x1.8 meters. At the same time, the area of 1600m2 is covered with slabs and 380m2 of decorative stones (granite and marble), 30 high-class lamps are installed, the area is fenced and 14 benches and 8 pieces of garbage bins are installed on its territory.
