“Clean Coast” campaign in Bobojon Gafurov district                 

                                          

In the execution of the telegram of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the action plan of the Main Department for Environmental Protection of Sughd region, with the aim of cleaning water sources from waste, as well as the implementation of the Action Plan dedicated to the International Decade for Action "Water for Sustainable Development, 2018-2028" on the territory of the rural jamoat of Unji, on the bank of the river Sir, the campaign "Clean Coast" was held.

Residents of mahallas, representatives of enterprises and organizations took an active part in the action, a total of 260 people, and the river bank was completely cleared of various household waste and weeds, 6 m3 of waste was collected and taken to the official landfill.

The course of the action was covered on the republican television “Sinamo" and shown in the information program.
