"Preservation of glaciers-preservation of life and nature”                   

                                          

On June 6 of this year, at the initiative of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Executive Body of the Mastchoh district, a scientific and practical conference was held on the topic "Preservation of glaciers-preservation of life and nature", dedicated to the World Environment Day and the announcement of 2025 – the Year of Glacier Protection.

The event was attended by Chairman of Mastchoh district Azam Alizoda, Deputy Head of the Main Department of Environmental Protection in Sughd region Abdualim Gulov, employees of the Main Department, heads of departments and sectors of environmental protection in cities and districts of the region, veterans of the sphere, winners of environmental contests, activists, residents and guests of the district.

At the conference, the winners of the regional contest “Preservation of glaciers-preservation of life and nature” were awarded letters of thanks and money from the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan in the nominations for the best article, best poetry and best picture.

The colorful concert program, dancing and playing of artists in costumes of rare animals of Tajikistan gave the event a special colorfulness.
