Rewarding employees and veterans of environmental protection                     

                                          

In honor of the International Environment Day, a ceremony of awarding employees and veterans of environmental protection was held at the Main Department of Environmental Protection in the Sughd region.

Zarif Mirdado, Deputy Chairman of the region, made a congratulatory speech at the solemn event and congratulated the participants on the International Environment Day, noting that this holiday is an unforgettable and joyful day for all workers and specialists in the field of environmental protection, nature lovers, in general, those who work in the field of environmental protection and improvement. International Environment Day is considered one of the most important dates for the people of the planet, and every year in different countries of the world, in total, more than 150 countries solemnly celebrate the date on June 5th.

In our independent country, with the support of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the respected Emomali Rahmon, June 5, in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On Holidays", is annually celebrated as the International Environment Day, at which special attention is paid to topical environmental issues, in including the preservation of the environment, the conservation of natural resources and biodiversity.

Then the deputy chairman of the region Zarif Mirdado and the head of the Main Department of Environmental Protection in the Sughd region Gufronzoda Aziz thanked the workers and veterans of the sphere for their work, bailing them out with letters of thanks and gifts.
