Identification of violations by employees of the Main Department                   

                        

To fulfill the orders of the Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Main Directorate “On carrying out measures to preserve fish resources during the spawning period of 2023”, during the period of the ban on fishing for the implementation of the Action Plan, 78 operational inspections of operations were carried out in the reservoirs of the region. Based on their results, 78 acts of verification were drawn up, 15 protocols on administrative offenses and 2 materials were transferred to the regional prosecutor's office for action.

When carrying out operational operations during the ban on fishing, employees of the department of state control over the use and protection of flora, fauna and fish resources of the Main Directorate and employees of the Office of the State Committee for National Security in the Sughd region revealed violations of the law by citizens of the B. Gafurov district Djumaev Nazirjon and Kurbanov Burkhan in the Sumchak zone of the Sira River.

Offenders caught 65 fish using a boat and prohibited electric fishing (electric fishing rod), the cost of environmental damage, according to Appendix No. 8 of the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan dated December 31, 2014, No. 790, amounted to 4420 somoni.

For legal action, the materials were transferred to the prosecutor's office of the Sughd region.
