Nature Lovers Festival in Kanibadam

                

In order to attract the attention of the public, including young people to environmental issues, a "Festival of Nature Lovers" was held with the participation of representatives of the "Green Patrol" of the educational institution No. 6 of the city of Kanibadam. More than 400 students took part in the event.

During the event, models, paintings, handmade products were presented to the participants and guests, which outlined issues related to the conservation of biodiversity, other areas of environmental protection, including the negative impact of human activities on the ecosystem.

It is worth noting that in 2022, information and educational events were held in the educational institutions of the rural jamoats of Puloton, Firuzoba and Patar in the city of Kanibadam, as a result of which "Green Patrol" groups were created and a full course of additional environmental education subjects was completed.

A total of 6 teams of the "Green Patrol" of educational institutions of the city of Kanibadam performed under 3 conditions "Creating a layout", "Drawings" and "Hand craft", in each nomination three first places were determined for awarding.

The event is held within the framework of the project "Protection of musk forests and endangered plant species in the upper reaches of the Tajik reservoir" and makes a significant contribution to ensuring compliance with the requirements of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On Environmental Education of the population" and the implementation of the requirements of the action plan "State comprehensive Program for the development of environmental education and enlightenment of the population of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2021-2025" and improving the environmental knowledge of students of educational institutions.
