Scientific and practical conference on the topic "Glaciers of Tajikistan – a source of water resources of Central Asia"                                       

On April 6 of this year, according to the action plan of the Committee for the Implementation of the Initiative of Tajikistan to declare 2025 the "International Year of Glacier Protection", in order to implement the instructions given in the next Message of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, HE Emomali Rahmon, concerning the implementation of the principles of the "green economy" and the promotion of the fifth initiative of Tajikistan, in the conference hall of the medical college Bobojon Gafurov district a scientific and practical workshop was held on the topic "Glaciers of Tajikistan – the source of water resources of Central Asia" with the participation of specialists and employees of local structures, teachers and students of this institution.

The director of this college, Kaykhoni Sufiyot, made a presentation on the topic "Tajikistan is a place of great glaciers and a source of water resources in Central Asia."

At the same time, the head of the Environmental Protection Department of the Bobojon Gafurov district, Nosirov Sufialoh, made a report on "Protection of glaciers and their importance for the republic", valuing natural resources, contributing to reducing the impact on nature, cleanliness of the area and the coast, as well as during the implementation of the "Program for the integrated development of environmental education and enlightenment of the population of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2021-2025 years."

At the end of the conference, interesting questions were asked by the students, to which they received satisfactory answers.
