Scientific and literature event dedicated to the announcement of 2025 - "International year for the protection of glaciers"

                     

                                                                

April 8 of this year, in order to implement the points of the “Comprehensive State Program for the Development of Education and Environmental Awareness of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2021-2025”, a correct understanding of the essence of the fifth initiative of Tajikistan to declare 2025 the “International Year for the Protection of Glaciers” by the Aarhus Center of the Committee for Environmental Protection Wednesday, in cooperation with the leadership of the State Educational Institution "Pedagogical College of the City of Tursunzade", a scientific and literary event was held with the participation of teachers and students of this college.

In the first part of the event, Director of the CEP Aarhus Center J. Yakubov. made a presentation on the topic “International initiatives of the Republic of Tajikistan in the field of water and climate, the need to study the essence of the protection of glaciers in the face of climate change”.

Also, with the participation of a children's writer, laureate of the Aini Majid Salim Prize, the issues of highlighting the beautiful nature of the country in literature, the role of natural beauty in the literary work of writers, the importance of reading the works of classics and modern writers were considered.

At the end of the event, J. Yakubov and M. Salim answered questions from students, and books and souvenirs were presented to active participants. We remind you that holding such seminars helps to increase the level of awareness of the population in environmental issues, especially understanding the essence of water initiatives in Tajikistan.
