The beginning of landscaping works in the city of Dushanbe

                                                                

In order to green, prosper and turn Dushanbe into a "green" city, as part of the implementation of the decree of the Mayor of Dushanbe, 193,499 ornamental, shady, fruit and berry trees will be planted in the districts of the capital in autumn 2022 and spring 2023.

According to the Department of landscaping and landscaping of the executive office of the Chairman of the City of Dushanbe, 238287 seedlings were planted this year during the landscaping period, including 46951 shady, 114882 ornamental, 17459 bushes and 58995 berry seedlings on the territory of microdistricts, alleys and parks of culture and recreation of the districts of the capital.

In addition, in order to improve the environment, 9 104,983 seasonal and perennial flowers were planted in culture and recreation parks and alleys, of which 1,876,372 seasonal, 1,554,694 perennial, and 5,700,917 tulips.

In accordance with the instructions of the executive body of the state authority of the city of Dushanbe, in order to maintain seedlings in pristine condition, timely watering of trees and protection of trees from fungal diseases with the support of the executive bodies of the state authorities of the Ismoili Somoni, Sino, Firdavsi and Shohmansur districts, alleys and parks of culture and recreation are chemically treated by Favz.

It should be emphasized that landscaping is carried out under the supervision of specialists in this field, and according to their proposals, trees and shrubs of cedar, maple, pine, thuja, juniper, chestnut, cypress, plums, apples and lilac are planted.
