Improving the environment under the supervision of the authorities

                                                                

In the executive body of the state power of the city of Dushanbe, with the presence of Rahimzoda Tolib Karim, Deputy Chairman of the city of Dushanbe, a meeting was held between the heads of the Main Department of Environmental Protection in the city of Dushanbe, environmental protection departments in the districts of Ismoili Somoni, Sino, Firdavsi, Shohmansur and the administration of the State Unitary Enterprise “Dushanbenaklietkhadamotrason”.

During the conversation, the Deputy Chairman of the City of Dushanbe stressed that in order to implement the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan “On the State comprehensive program for the development of environmental education and enlightenment of the population of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2021-2025”, the Chairman of the City of Dushanbe, Mr. Rustami Emomali, was entrusted with conducting propaganda work to increase environmental awareness of youth and adolescents in educational institutions in cooperation with the Chief the Department of Environmental Protection and the Department of Education of the City of Dushanbe. And also, within the framework of the fifth initiative of Tajikistan to declare 2025 the “International Year of Glacier Protection” and March 21 the “World Glacier Day”, carrying out creative works, planting trees, transforming the capital into a “Green City" and increasing the culture of urbanization.

It was noted that with the creation of a working group in educational institutions, health and culture, the provisions of section 5 "Rules of Public order, improvement and sanitation in the city of Dushanbe", approved by the resolution of the Majlis of People's Deputies of the city of Dushanbe, should be put forward and implemented.

In order to turn the country's capital into a “Green City” on Saturday and Sunday, environmental campaigns are planned in educational, medical, cultural and transport institutions in order to improve the environmental situation.
