Meeting of employees of the environmental protection sector in an educational institution of the Shahristan region

                                                                

According to the order of the Main Department of Environmental Protection of the Sughd region, employees of the department of environmental protection in the general educational institution No. 8 of the Shakhristan region held a meeting with teachers and students of senior classes.

During the event, the main points of the Message of the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon Majlisi Oli, were explained to the participants, and for the purpose of agitation and propaganda of the announcement of 2025 - “International Year for the Protection of Glaciers” and “World Glacier Day”, presentations were presented on the topic “ Glaciers and their position in nature.

In turn, the educators also emphasized some points of the next message and the adoption by the United Nations of the fifth initiative of Tajikistan. In conclusion, during the questions and answers, students were provided with additional information on the issues of adaptation and mitigation of the impact of climate change on glaciers.
