The next step of the Leader of the Nation in the UN

At the initiative of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, on December 14, 2022, the United Nations General Assembly at its 77th session adopted a Resolution of Tajikistan entitled declaring 2025 the International Year for the Protection of Glaciers, 153 Member States UN.

According to this resolution, from the beginning of 2025, every year on March 21 will be celebrated as World Glacier Day.

Dedicated to this event on December 20 this year, an action and procession was held in the city of Kulyab for the protection of glaciers with the participation of a wide range of residents, where more than 4,500 representatives of companies and organizations, youth, and students participated.
