Action "Restoration of trees in the cultural and entertainment park"                              

The main department of environmental protection in the Sughd region on the basis of the action plan for improvement and gardening for the autumn-winter season, the decision of the regional headquarters and the plan for planting, gardening and improving the environment in cities and districts of the Sughd region for 2022, December 17, 2022, in the city Khujand held an action in the state institution "Cultural and entertainment garden named after Abumahmud Khujandi".

Employees of the landscaping institution of the city of Khujand, the sector for youth and sports, relevant communal and household structures for the implementation of the “State Comprehensive Program for the Development of Environmental Education and Education of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2021-2025” youth, students and students of professional lyceums.

It should be noted that in this cultural and entertainment park, in accordance with the requirements of current regulations, the number of trees relative to the area is small and needs to be increased. In order to improve the ecological state of the region and the territory of the garden, more than 800 seedlings of shady evergreen trees suitable for planting in such gardens were planted during the event. For this purpose, the main farm purchased seedlings of pines, chestnuts, paulownias and other species.

During the campaign on planting seedlings, close cooperation took place with the public organization "Youth Group for Environmental Protection", with the support of the OSCE Program Office in Dushanbe, seedlings of evergreen, oak and paulonic trees were also received. At the same time, seedlings were planted with the participation of the chairman of the region, the chairman of the city of Khujand and representatives of the executive body of state power of the region and the city.

With the support of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, such events are held in an organized manner, especially within the framework of the landscaping and landscaping campaign.
