Conducting gender training as part of project implementation                                    

December 13 this year at the Rumi Hotel in Dushanbe on the initiative of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and with the support of the Adaptation Fund and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) as part of the project "Integrated theoretical approach to increasing the resilience of small farmers and pastoralists to Climate Change in Tajikistan” held a gender training.

Along with the trainers of this project, members of the working group and representatives of partner organizations of the project took part in the training.

In accordance with the order of the proposed program, the training time was divided into components, in which the trainers studied the issues of filling out questionnaires, adopting rules, reviewing the program, defining a gender goal, introducing gender methods into the implementation of the project under consideration, gender policy of the Republic of Tajikistan, the status of rural women and men on water use, gender skills and other issues.

The teaching method that was used in working with the groups was interesting and fun. At the end of the training, the results of the work were summed up, and the results of mastering the issues under consideration were entered in the questionnaires and read out to the participants of the training.
